Ingredients

scampi sauce-

  • 6 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 Tbsp dry white wine
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 3 Tbsp chicken broth
  • 3 Tbsp parsley chopped
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Combine the salt, pepper and paprika for the seasoning.

  • In a large bowl, toss shrimp in the seasoning.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook over medium/high heat for 1-2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from the skillet and cover to keep warm.

    I made it and added a little Cajun seasoning and wish I hadn’t. I added extra wine and lemon. I also added some cayenne pepper. I will do this again and tweak some more. I am looking to recreate a scampi recipe from a restaurant I loved years ago in my hometown. The scampi was very tangy and garlicky. I have never been able to nail it. This recipe was good but I wanted more.
